I am an artist and designer living in South East Queensland, Australia.

What I do
I specialise in children’s art workshops, which I've been running since 2001. During that time I've taught in schools, libraries, shopping centres, for community groups and corporate clients. Other artists help out from time to time, during busy periods.

What Inspires me
I am inspired by the natural world and the early colonial obsession with cataloging, defining & creating curiosities to delight the mind and the senses.

The attention to the detail of everyday natural surroundings seems lost to most people in their day to day lives as they are bombarded with ever more forms of distraction.

I particularly enjoy creating “lost” narratives, stories and histories that never existed, particularly in interactive forms such as artist books, unusual images with hidden details and interactive installations.

Other Stuff
As a child I was bit wild and barefoot with a love for green areas. Not much has changed. I love huge clashing thunder storms and watching the sun set slowly over the garden while the birds and fruit bats fly past.

I live with my husband, baby daughter, two former RSPCA cats and a varying number of chickens.
